If you are a parent or if you are on social media, you know that it’s back to school time. Children and young adults are busy getting their class schedules, books and school supplies to prepare for another year of learning and growth.
What a great time for us industry professionals to think about “going back to school,” too.
Let’s include ourselves in putting together a “schedule,” getting some books and supplies to prepare for our own year of learning and growth.
In order to best put together your own “schedule,” let me encourage you to think about the areas in which you most want to improve:
- planning
- sales skills
- product knowledge
- business leadership
- operational efficiencies
A quick internet search will help you find great training resources to help you in any of these above topics including local universities, online courses, upcoming industry trade shows, area meetups (www.meetup.com) and much more. It’s just as easy to find some great books online to help, too.
Let me encourage you to turn this “back to school” season into an opportunity for you to prepare for your own year of learning and growth.
